Drama Queen Poppy

This poppy opened in my garden today! It's my first year to grow this beauty, which is over 3 ft. tall. She is dramatic indeed, wouldn't you say?

I've never seen a poppy like it. It's a beauty. I especially love the centre. it looks as if the poppy is wearing a boa. Dramatic indeed.

That is definitely a dramatic blossom. The purple and read puts her in the generous and wildly eccentric class. ;)

Wow mom. That poppy is stunning. So is your photography. Wishing Annabelle and I could take a stroll through Nana's garden this very moment.

Stunning poppy! Reminds me ... what happened to mine? Had them several years ago and they do re-seed. I hope I didn't pluck them out as weeds ...

I'm running out to check!
