Good Advice

I received an exclusive email offer today from one of my favorite catalogs, Charley's Greenhouse & Garden, and they were offering T-shirts for sale with these messages....

Love the bright red color of this one!

....Great advice, no?

This was a day brightener for me. Just wanted to share it with any of my garden blogger friends who might be having a case of the winter blues! :-)

  1. Winter blues? Too soon for that! But I do like those t-shirts. Someone got me one once with "advice from a tree".

  2. I'm with Carol too soon for winter blue in my area.

But the pics are pretty cool and the "advice" is spot on.

  3. Excellent advice Connie and t-shirts are great fun too. Now why don't they sell fun stuff like that in my neck of the woods?

    Have a great weekend!

  4. Oh, my dearest Connie! The winter blues, or whites are here for sure. We've been fogged in for a week, snow almost daily, and too slick to go for a walk. A sweet and spicey cup of tea and conversation with Rachel chased those blue/whites away! I pray the same for you!! Catherine

  5. How cute! They should be wall hangings or something for those of us who don't wear t-shirts. Nancy

  11. Great advice.

I have already got the winter blues and it hasn't snowed here yet. Must plant something! Good thing I have my houseplants and a few others I managed to take with me indoors.

  12. I love the T-shirts, in particular the Lady bug one. I'm new to this so I have a question concerning winter blues... When everything is brown and gray and the garden has gone away for the winter. What am I to blog about that's interesting? Please for give me if I'm breaking some rules of etiquette by asking a question in your comments. I've already been informed that I do not follow them correctly and I mean no disrespect to you.

  13. Randy and Jamie - Since I just started my blog this past spring, this will be my first winter to blog as well, so not sure I really know the answer to your question. I am posting less often these days, as the season is so busy, but hope to do more posts on some of my favorite flowers, seed catalogs and orders, winter sowing, etc. Are you familiar with GardenWeb.com? Lots of inspiration and forums available there for the slow gardening months!
