It was raining when we went to bed last night, but sometime during the night it turned to snow....

This late bloom on my yellow English rose 'Graham Thomas' was heavy with wet snow, and resting on the post of the picket fence.

Looks like a heavy, wet snow. It looks as though we may be receiving some snow on Wednesday. We'll be thinking about all the Thanksgiving travelers.

ReplyDeletewe are forecast for snow/rain here in Utah tonight! I wonder if it will really come. Nice to find another western gardener, thanks for stopping by my blog.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! We received our first snow yesterday, I was not home from work in time to get pictures as it was dark when I got home from work. It was the pretty kind that sticks to the trees, darn it :).
ReplyDeleteThe first snowfall is always 'magical' and you captured it beautifully, Connie. Though 'teased' with a few flakes and light dusting, we are in 'a holding pattern'... but I have my camera waiting!
ReplyDeleteHello, we have had our first snow already as well. It seems to stick to the mountain tops now. Then again it is that time of the year. Time to cuddle up in front of a fireplace and think of all we can do in the garden next year. Take care, Andrea
